Our ambition is to provide practical student education and thus prepare the next generation of dentists and physicians. In dental medicine, we pursue the goal of producing graduates who are capable of treating patients safely and independently as soon as they have finished their studies.
University teaching and postgraduate training are core tasks of the division. High-quality education is guaranteed by continously integrating research into teaching. It is based on close collaboration with preclinical institutes, divisions, international partner universities and industrial partners.
The wide range of professional development opportunities at the Medical University of Graz is directed at a variety of occupational groups in the fields of medicine, science and research, nursing and health services. Most of the professional development courses can be completed while the participant is regularly employed and provide him/her with a valuable additional qualification.
In particular, we refer to the Doctoral program in Medical Science as well as to the further education and training offered within the "Postgraduate Dental School".
